Our Team
Brian Van Poppel
Brian has been working in the automotive industry for over 30 years. He got his love of the car world from his father Tom, going to work with him and learning from the experience of watching Tom deal with his customers. After high school he went to college and got his associates degree in Automotive Technology and went to work for a local Buick dealer. In 1997 he went to work full time for his father in the family business. Now Brian does anything from scheduling jobs, doing estimates, advising customers on their parts and service needs, as well as working on the cars doing what he loves.
Lisa Van Poppel
Lisa is usually the first face that you see when you walk into the store. She manages the parts that most people see when they come into the store, the inventory, to the behind the scenes that no one ever sees but keeps the doors open, the accounting. She does an incredible job of keeping this straight, making sure that the jobs we are working on have the parts that they need, keeping the inventory up to date, paying the bills and taking care of payroll. Her contributions keep the company rolling along and she is a vital part of our what make Maryland Performance great.
Bob Denzler
Bob has been with us for about 3 years now. However he has been a customer and a friend of the business for many, many years. He worked for majority of his career in a few different GM dealerships. He also opened Old Car Garage, where they did upgrades and maintenance on many original, classics, and customs. He was a perfect fit to come to work with us at Maryland Performance and we, and our customers, are lucky to have him.
Dale Adams
Dale is the newest arrival at Maryland Performance Specialties. He has been with us for about a year now and what a great addition he has been. He has great automotive knowledge and skills to go along with it. He has over 30 years of experience working on cars and has always worked on classics as a hobby. We are so happy that he is with us so that he can make a living doing what used to be just a fun hobby.
