Joe Gibbs Racing uses XP2 synthetic engine oil for restrictor plate racing at Daytona and Talladega. XP2 features the same anti-wear chemistry as our race proven XP1, but utilizes a lightweight base oil for increased horsepower without decreased durability in our restrictor plate engines. It's SAE 20 weight viscosity makes XP2 a very versitale oil. It is heavy enough to run 500 miles, but it is light enough to run in a Pro Stock engine. XP2 works well in NHRA Stock Eliminator and Comp Eliminator engines, Ford Focus Midget Engines and Rolex Grand American DP and GT engines. XP2 performs the best in tight clearance, low RA surface finish and/or moderate temperature applications (130F to 220F).
